The Ohio State University invites applications for a part-time Donor Experience Associate1 for the Mansfield campus. This position supports the development, execution, and coordination of fundraising, stewardship, alumni engagement, and community engagement initiatives for Ohio State Mansfield. Works closely with campus leadership, faculty, staff, chief development officer, and central advancement partners to advance philanthropic opportunities to support student success, academic programs, and campus initiatives. Assists with prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation preparation, stewardship activities, and donor communications. Coordinates the development of impact reports, gift acknowledgments, stewardship communications, and annual giving content, including support of any campus engagement events such as theatre season preparation.
Collects and organizes stories, program outcomes, student impact information, and funding needs to support donor outreach, annual appeals, stewardship reporting, and engagement communications. Assists with the planning and execution of donor, alumni, and community events, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences. Develops invitation lists, event reports, registration tracking, and follow-up activities, including Advancement System (TAS) documentation. Provides on-site event support and serves as a key contributor to creating meaningful donor and alumni experiences that strengthen engagement with Ohio State Mansfield and inspire philanthropic investment.
Administrative Operations, Project Coordination, and Fiscal Support
Serves as the primary administrative and operational support resource for the Mansfield Advancement team, responding to inquiries and coordinating requests from faculty, staff, donors, alumni, and community partners. Assists in prioritizing and delegating administrative tasks to support efficient team operations. Coordinates data collection, reporting, list generation, and information management utilizing TAS and other university systems in partnership with central advancement colleagues.
Maintains operational calendars, project timelines, task assignments, and team priorities to ensure initiatives are completed on schedule and in accordance with university policies and procedures. Provides project management support for fundraising, stewardship, communications, and engagement initiatives utilizing project management tools such as Asana. Serves as a central point of communication for collaborative projects involving multiple campus and university partners, helping ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinates purchasing activities, reconcile procurement card transactions, processes deposits and payments, and supports financial recordkeeping in accordance with university policies. Collaborates with fiscal staff on monthly reconciliations, revenue transfers, and journal entries. Maintains confidential donor, financial, and personnel information while exercising sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive matters.

Responds effectively to evolving campus and advancement priorities by supporting special projects, strategic initiatives, and emerging opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned in support of the mission, goals, and operational needs of Ohio State Mansfield Advancement and Community Relations.

The Ohio State University at Mansfield offered its first classes in 1958. The Mansfield campus sits on 640 acres and shares the campus with North Central State College. The campus is a thriving model for sustainability and environmental/natural resources experiential education and hands-on research. The campus has a 20-acre sugar bush used for maple syrup production; vernal pools, pine plantations, wetlands, and stream heads; and an ecolab collaboration with the School of Environment and Natural Resources. The two institutions have their own administrative leadership and governance structure, but partner through several shared services, including security, campus recreation, facilities, and several student events and programs.
