Job summary

The Choir School of Delaware is seeking a Development Manager to lead donor engagement, annual giving campaigns, and corporate sponsorships. You will manage pipelines in Monday.com and DonorView CRM and collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic fundraising initiatives.

This hybrid role supports major events, including the Spring Gala and donor receptions, with administration of micro-grants under $5,000. Evening/weekend events are expected on occasion.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in non-profit fundraising or donor engagement with a track record of closing gifts and managing events.
• Comfort with outbound donor outreach and asking for financial commitments.
• Experience with Monday.com and CRM systems (DonorView or similar).
• Experience planning major events, galas, or sponsorship fulfillment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in non-profit management, communications, or business.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends; valid state driver’s license and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbound donor engagement and direct solicitations to reactivate lapsed donors.
• Expand flagship donor circles and annual giving campaigns.
• Maintain donor pipelines in Monday.com and DonorView CRM.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on fundraising initiatives and closing gifts.
• Research, draft, and manage micro-grants under $5,000.
• Coordinate with ShoeString DE and external grant writers for larger proposals.
• Support federal grant preparation and ensure tax receipts are issued.
• Align direct mail and digital campaigns with fundraising pushes.
