Job summary

Grifols, S.A is seeking staff to perform pre-donation medical screening and manage donor testing and documentation in a plasma center. You will determine HCT and protein levels, operate related equipment, and ensure donor suitability and safety through compliant procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-donation medical screening following established guidelines.
• Determines Hematocrit (HCT) and Protein via finger stick and use of hematastat and refractometer.
• Promotes customer satisfaction through responsive interaction with donors.
• Ensures donor screening information is complete and accurate prior to donation.
• Communicates donor medical information to Medical Staff.
• Maintains donor files and proper sanitation of work areas.
