Job summary

The Outreach Team in Charleston, SC is seeking a Lead Director to lead a field fundraising team and drive donor acquisition and retention. This is a full-time role with a 50-hour workweek, starting immediately.

Compensation begins at $93,600 annually with bonuses based on performance. The role includes payroll responsibilities, staff development, and opportunities for advancement along with health insurance and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing a large team (8–12 staff) to hit weekly and monthly donor goals.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop staff with measurable outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing payroll and staff schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team that meets weekly and monthly donor goals and improve donor metrics.
• Develop strategic plans to reach constituencies in assigned locations.
• Lead canvassing efforts four days per week to achieve targets.
• Oversee operations, logistics, payroll, and staff scheduling.
• Hire and onboard staff; provide feedback and performance coaching.
