The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Family Services Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse operations and related property upkeep. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Social Services Supervisor and focuses on donations, inventory, safety, and service to clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating pickups and deliveries, stocking supplies, maintaining equipment, supervising volunteers, and ensuring Protecting the Mission guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with pallet jack, forklift, and box truck preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Forklift operation certification within 90 days of employment.
• Valid Montana Driver’s License and 3 years driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the daily pick up of donations from local retailers, driving a TSA vehicle when needed.
• Assist with the receiving and processing of food as directed by the Social Services Supervisor.
• Work with warehouse staff to maintain adequate stores of perishable and non-perishable food and supplies.
• Assist with stocking coolers and freezers.
• Provide accurate documentation and timely reporting of all Gift-In-Kind Donations.
• Assist with coordinating and receiving deliveries and ensure safety compliance.
