Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Donations Sorter/Pricer to be the friendly face for donors. You will lift incoming donations up to 50 lbs, price merchandise accurately, and support an efficient store operation in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in production or similar roles; you will greet donors, provide courteous receipts, and help maintain a safe, neat workspace while cross-training in cash

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
• Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment and taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
• Cross-training may include cash register, hanging/inspecting/tagging textiles & clothing in a production style setting.
• Receiving may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.

Job Description

The Donations Sorter/Pricer is the “face of Goodwill” to donors. They are team‑oriented, friendly, and ready to help donors. They lift incoming donations (up to 50 lbs.) and evaluate and price merchandise appropriately. They are expected to meet high expectations in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.

Hours & Pay

Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10 am–8 pm, opening at 11 am on Sunday. Pay: $15.00 per hour.
