Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking Donations Sorters/Pricers to greet donors, sort incoming donations, and price merchandise accurately.

Candidates should be friendly, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and ready to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Pay is $15.00 per hour, with varied store hours including evenings and weekends; E‑Verify participation is required in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
• Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment and taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
• Cross-training in the following areas: Cash Register, Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
• Receiving may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.

Job Description

Our Donations Sorters/Pricers are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who make our work possible. Donations Sorters/Pricers are team‑oriented, friendly, and go out of their way to help our donors. They are able to lift incoming donations (up to 50 lbs.) and evaluate merchandise and price it appropriately. We seek individuals who make work a priority and enjoy meeting high expectations in a fast‑paced environment.

Schedule & Compensation

• Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10:00‑8:00 PM, opening at 11:00 AM on Sunday.
