Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Processing Worker I to sort, inspect, price, and stock donated goods for resale. The role supports the sales floor, opens/closes donation areas, and ensures donations are handled safely with strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of processing experience or completion of a GISD program. Knowledge of brand-name clothing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Processor experience: Minimum of 6 months of recent experience or graduation from a GISD employment program.
• Computer Skills: None
• Certificates & Licenses: None
• Other Requirements: Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise and brand names is preferred

Responsibilities

• Sort, Inspect, clean, price and tally donations for the sales floor.
• Push racks and carts to retail floor; assist in stocking and pulling merchandise.
• Open and close donations area; accept and safeguard donations; keep areas clean and safe.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assist truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
