Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is hiring a Production Tech to process donated goods in Rincon, GA. This full-time role supports warehouse operations, processing textiles, hardlines, and other donations while maintaining accurate records and safe, efficient work habits.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, good eyesight, and the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Customer service and safety compliance are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Possess good eyesight and color definition.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess goods and determine appropriate routing.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use hand truck.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule determined by store needs; typical retail hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presort donations into textiles, hardline goods, and trash.
• Move materials from workstation to workstation as needed.
• Receive donated goods from donors and assist with unloading and receipts.
• Maintain accurate donation records on a daily basis.
• Pack seasonal items and label for storage or shipment.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized, follow safety procedures.
