Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van (box truck) or equivalent training.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates the truck in accordance with Salvation Army standards and state driving regulations.
• Lifts, carries, loads, and unloads donations (furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.).
• Ensures safety, security, and accountability of vehicle and donations at all times.
• Operates a bailer machine to secure, package, and bind large volumes of clothing.
