Job summary

The Salvation Army Burlington Family Store is seeking a part-time Associate to help with donation pickups, loading and unloading items, and supporting store/warehouse operations in Burlington, NC. The role requires lifting heavy items and a valid driver’s license, with a schedule Tue–Sat for 29 hours per week and non-exempt status.

Compensation ranges from $9.00 to $9.50 per hour, with benefits including Paid Time Off, and optional life and supplemental insurance.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Six months experience lifting and hauling heavy items such as appliances and furniture.
• Valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assists in picking up donations by riding in a Salvation Army truck and loading donor items into the truck.
• Maintains the vehicle in proper working order and complies with standards for safety and security of donations.
• Assists in performing work in the thrift/family store and warehouse.
