The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory in Morehead City, NC is seeking a Store Clerk to assist customers with donating, selecting, and purchasing items. You will operate the cash register, process transactions, and provide courteous service to every visitor.

You will help keep displays neat, support price tagging and stocking, respond to questions, and maintain store security and cleanliness throughout your shift.

Competenze

• High School diploma or G.E.D. and experience working in a retail store preferred,
• or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Assist customers purchasing items from The Salvation Army by ringing-up sales and handling cash.
• Explain store policy and respond to questions regarding pricing and purchasing.
• Assist customers donating items and provide tax receipts as needed.
• Answer the store telephone and provide directions or general information.
• Maintain the neatness and security of the cash register area.
• Arrange items on shelves and ensure displays are neat and orderly.
• Clean display racks, floors, windows; keep store inviting.
• Inspect donated items to ensure usability according to policies.
• Assist in pricing and tagging items as required.
• Help customers carry items in/out of the store.
