Job summary

sdgoodwill in Imperial Beach, CA is seeking a Processing Worker I to sort, inspect, price and stock donated items for sale. You will assist on the sales floor and help donors with a friendly, helpful attitude.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of processing experience or GISD program graduation. No computer skills required; training will be provided. You will help open/close donations, load/unload shipments, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Processor experience: Preferred.
• Experience for Processing Worker I: 6 months minimum or GISD employment program graduation.
• Computer Skills: None
• Certificates & Licenses: None
• Other Requirements: Knowledge of quality clothing and famous brand names is preferred

Responsibilities

• Sort, Inspect, clean, price and tally donations produced for sales floor.
• Pushes racks and carts to retail floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
• Opens and closes donations area. Accepts and safeguards donations and keeps processing and donation areas in a clean, safe and organized manner.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assists truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
