Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory in Rogers, MN is hiring a Backroom Attendant for our thrift store to greet donors, process donations, and support mission-driven programs.

In this part-time, on-site role, you will handle donations, maintain organized areas, and assist with truck loading and pickup logistics while maintaining safety and customer service standards. Weekend and evening availability is required to fit our community schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication for donors and team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Basic math skills for donations and receipts.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide exceptional donor service.
• Process and track donations accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized donation area.
• Load and unload Salvation Army trucks per policy.
• Sort donations and support production as needed.
• Ensure safety and report issues promptly.
• Inform donors about pickup services for heavy items.
