Job summary

The Salvation Army Oak Lawn store seeks a Store Backroom Attendant to greet donors, process donations, and maintain an organized donation area. This role blends customer service with mission-driven work to support community programs.

Responsibilities include donor guidance, accurate donation tracking, and assisting with truck loading/unloading. Flexibility for weekends/evenings is required; lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 occasionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing.
• Strong English communication skills for donor and team interactions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

About the Role
