Job summary

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Six months experience lifting and hauling heavy items such as appliances and furniture. Valid State Driver's License.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.

Responsibilities

• Rides in a Salvation Army truck on a scheduled route to pick-up donated items.
• Lifts, carries, and hauls donations into truck and packs items to maximize space and safety.
• Maintains good relationships with donors to promote a favorable image.
