Job summary

Agrace is seeking a Donation Pick Up Assistant to load donations from donors, transport to thrift stores, and help stage items for sale. This role involves safe driving a 15’ box truck, packing and sorting donations, and coordinating with the thrift store team.

Responsibilities include unloading, pricing, and displaying items; keeping areas clean and organized, and assisting with store operations across Agrace locations. Valid license and basic Office skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.
• Ability to drive a 15’ box truck.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Experience using industry specific software.
• Commitment to confidentiality and respect for patients, families and staff.
• Willingness to work at multiple Agrace locations.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport donations from donors to Agrace thrift stores; pack and secure loads.
• Sort, pack and stage donations; transport boxes and furniture; use carts and dollies.
• Drive to thrift store locations; report safety or quality issues to the donation services manager.
• Unload, clean, price and stage furniture and non-furniture donations for sale.
• Participate in store staging, pricing and display; help with daily store operations.
• Contribute to internal groups and committees as needed.

If you are looking for a role that helps support meaningful, patient-centered care, this is your opportunity to make a difference!How You’ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions)The Donation Pick Up Assistant is responsible for loading donations onto the Agrace Thrift Store truck from a donor’s home or business to be delivered to the thrift stores. This includes packing donations into containers, hauling furniture, arranging thrift store furniture to accommodate new donations, and cleaning and pricing donations.Key ResponsibilitiesPack, pick up, and load donationsSort and pack donations. Lift and stage boxes for loading.Transport boxes and furniture, using the assistance of carts and dollies, onto the truck.
