Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time donation processor to greet donors, unload donations, price items, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Training is provided, with starting pay at $15 per hour and annual raises/bonuses.

Work is indoors and outdoors, involving lifting up to 100+ pounds, standing, bending, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 100+ pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
• Friendly, dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.

Salary Description

$15/hr
