Job summary

The Salvation Army in Grand Junction, CO seeks a part-time Clerk/Sorter to manage donations, operate the cash register when scheduled, and maintain a welcoming, tidy store. You will oversee volunteers and ensure smooth daily operations under supervision of the store manager and retail director.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, stocking floors, pricing items, and assisting with banking and paperwork at night.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Sort all donations and direct them to the correct department.
• Operate the POS system when scheduled.
• Help maintain a friendly, clean store environment.
• Assist with volunteers and community service workers.
• Assist with night paperwork and bank deposits.
• Be in charge when the store manager is out or on vacation.
