Ponca Pathways’ donation center in Omaha is seeking a part-time Donation Center Support Associate to assist with donation intake, sorting, basic inventory prep, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will help ensure donated goods are handled efficiently and respectfully to support workforce development and economic opportunities for Ponca Tribal members.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, staying organized, and contributing to a community-centered nonprofit

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and move donated items up to 30 pounds.
• Experience managing a warehouse/receiving dock.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to learn skills needed for an e-commerce store.
• Availability to work during normal business hours with possible extended times.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.

Aufgaben

• Greet donors and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Accept, sort, and process donated items according to guidelines and standards.
• Assist with transporting donated items from donation bins to the center.
• Tag, label, and organize donated goods for resale or storage.
• Support basic inventory tracking and donation logs; prepare items for transfer.
• Assist with Community Donation Drive events and retail pop-ups.
• Manage social media postings to Facebook and Instagram.
• Process and ship customer orders placed on the e-commerce site promptly.
• Follow all safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures.

Summary:

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greetdonorsandprovidefriendly,professionalcustomerserviceduringdonationdrop-offs.
