Job summary

Ponca Pathways, operated by Ponca Economic Development Corporation (PEDCO), seeks a part-time Donation Center Support Associate in the Omaha area. You will assist with donation intake, sorting, basic inventory preparation, and maintaining a welcoming environment to support workforce development and community economic opportunities.

The role emphasizes front-line customer service, organization, and collaboration with local volunteers and staff to ensure efficient donation processing and revenue

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing a warehouse/receiving dock preferred.
• Ability to manage a large inventory flow of up to 100 units/day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide friendly, professional customer service during donation drop-offs.
• Accept, sort, and process donated items according to established guidelines and quality standards.
• Assist with transporting donated items from community donation bins to the donation center.
• Assist with tagging, labeling, and organizing donated goods for resale or storage.
• Support basic inventory tracking by assisting with donation logs and preparing items for transfer to e-commerce or retail operations.
• Assist with community donation drives and retail pop-ups, including setup and breakdown.
• Process and ship customer orders placed on the e-commerce site in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Represent Ponca Pathways and PEDCO in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
