Qualifications

• Warm welcome to donors and make a great first impression.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safely operate equipment like pallet jacks, dollies, and walkie-stackers.
• Strong organizational abilities and sound judgment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly demeanor and neat appearance.
• Comfort in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to follow safety directives and policies.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assist donors, provide receipts for donations, and ensure positive interactions.
• Pre-sort and organize donations into categories, check quality.
• Support truck drivers during loading/unloading of donations.
• Foster teamwork and clearly communicate donation policies to donors and colleagues.
• Identify challenges quickly and seek guidance when needed.
• Transport trash to dumpsters and maintain cleanliness in donation area.
• Keep donation area and backroom neat and welcoming.
• Follow safety procedures and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Schedule flexibility to meet team needs.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
