Goodwill Manasota is seeking a Donation Center Attendant to welcome donors, assist with unloading donations, and ensure items are processed efficiently and safely. You will record donor details, categorize donations, and keep the site clean and organized.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Flexibility for various shifts and locations is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, weekends, or different locations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly and courteously, assist with unloading donations and provide tax receipts.
• Accurately record donor information and maintain daily donation counts.
• Sort donations into saleable, salvage, or trash categories.
• Keep the donation site clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Safeguard donated items and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Support transportation or site operations and report safety or maintenance concerns.
