Job summary

Goodwill Central Oklahoma is seeking a Donation Attendant to transport donated goods from customer vehicles and GICO trucks, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

The role requires greeting the public professionally, issuing detailed receipts, maintaining clean work areas, and following safety procedures to protect people and property. Training and safety meetings are part of the job, with variable hours and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with supervisor, truck drivers and customers.
• Ability to get along with helpers and co-workers.
• Able to take orders and follow instructions from Supervisor.
• Ability to read and complete paperwork.
• Dependable with good attendance and adherence to schedules.
• GED or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions about quality of donations and communicate with customers.
• Greet the public professionally and provide customers with detailed receipts.
• Keep work and public areas neat, clean and orderly.
• Maintain GICO equipment and follow safety standards.
• Open, close and secure ADC at end of shift.
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports and inventories.
• Review safety policies and attend trainings.
• Abide by management policies.
