A leading nonprofit organization in Oakland is looking for a full-time Donation Attendant. This role pays $17.34 hourly and involves maintaining donation areas, assisting donors, and sorting materials. Candidates should have a High School diploma and the ability to follow instructions. Qualifications

• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning up the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod.
• Assisting the donor in the receipt of donated items and provide receipt.
• Maintaining all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Separating and sorting all donated material into the proper containers.
• Assisting TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations on to trucks as necessary.
• Informing the supervisor of needed items prior to running out.
• Securing and locking Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
