Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean the donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist donors in receiving items, provide receipts, and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by the supervisor.
- Separate and sort donated material into the correct containers, stacking as instructed.
- Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
- Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts).
- Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must pass a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
- Ability to read, write, and understand both written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication skills with management, colleagues, customers, and donors.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Schedule
Stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by management and require flexibility to ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may be scheduled for any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
