Join the dedicated Retail Team at The Salvation Army! Help us serve and impact our community through our Chino Thrift Store, which supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program. Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean the donation area at the start and end of each shift
  • Assist donors with donations and provide receipts
  • Complete reports and paperwork as instructed
  • Sort and organize donated items properly
  • Assist with loading donations onto trucks
  • Notify supervisor of needed supplies
  • Secure and lock the donation area after shifts
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Effective communication skills
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75 lbs
  • Perform repetitive motions
  • Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
Schedule

Stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules are flexible; full-time staff may work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Salvation Army complies with COVID-19 safety measures, including vaccination requirements, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons.
