Job summary

The Salvation Army in Lake Forest is hiring a Donation Attendant to support the Retail Team at our Lake Forest Store. You will assist donors, manage donation receipts, and help sort and load donations for transport, contributing to a smooth, customer-friendly donation experience.

The role offers an hourly wage of $17.50 and full-time hours, with employee benefits that reflect TSA’s commitment to supporting staff and the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or donation-driven environments is a plus.
• Ability to maintain organized records and reports.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning up the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assisting the donor in the receipt of donated items from the donor and provide receipt
• Maintaining all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor
• Separating and sorting all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stack material as instructed by the Supervisor
• Assisting TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations on to trucks as necessary
