Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is hiring to lead an excellent customer and brand experience at our store. The role handles donations, processes receipts, and assists customers with loading and unloading items while maintaining organized production areas.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide a receipt to each donor, regardless of the size of the donation.
• Inquire about potentially hazardous products and provide locations list for proper disposal to the customer.
• Write up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture, electrical, and other large items.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items to and from vehicles.
• Maintain the placement of all merchandise and organize the production room by following Picture Process Map (PPM) standards.
• Assist in loading or unloading merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers, as needed.
• Safely operate a pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on all company-owned equipment, follow safety rules, and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Provide floor care duties at a retail store, as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs.
• Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Starting Pay : $15.15 Hourly

Position Description

Works as a member of the store team to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, and promote sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Responsible for receiving all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and placing items in the appropriate location in the production room or sales floor.
