Position Description

Works as a member of the store team to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, and promote sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Responsible for receiving all donations in an expedient, courteous manner, and placing items in the appropriate location in the production room or sales floor.

Starting Pay

$14.50 / Hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Accept all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
  2. Correctly label Gaylords.
  3. Ensure that a receipt is offered to each donor, regardless of donation size.
  4. Inquire about potential hazardous products being donated and provide disposal location information.
  5. Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture, electrical, and other large items.
  6. Assist customers with loading and unloading items.
  7. Maintain merchandise placement and organization following PPM standards.
  8. Assist in loading/unloading merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers.
  9. Safely operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers; conduct daily safety inspections.
  10. Follow safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
  11. Perform floor care duties as needed.
  12. Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
  13. Maintain regular and consistent attendance.

  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
  • Proficient in speaking and reading English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
