Job summary

Thrift World in La Vista, NE is hiring a Community Donation Attendant to support our fast-paced, community-focused nonprofit retail aisles. You will greet donors, sort donations, and maintain a clean donation area while providing friendly service.

The role is full-time, with a Wednesday–Saturday 9:00 am–5:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am–6:00 pm schedule. Benefits include PTO, health, dental, vision, 401k, and employee discounts. Applicants must be 18+ and will undergo a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous retail or donation center experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Accept, sort, and categorize incoming donations.
• Maintain a clean, organized donation area.
• Ensure donations are properly handled and processed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community members and donors.
