Under the supervision of the Donated Goods Manager, Donated Goods Manager in Training, or Donated Goods Assistant Manager, the Donated Goods Supervisor is responsible for maintaining activities to ensure maximum revenues and effectiveness. The Donated Goods Supervisor may be responsible for their location in the absence of the Donated Goods Manager or Donated Goods Assistant Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
Support in other store locations as assigned by Director of Donated Goods.
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
Experience Required: Two years' supervisory experience in retail sales or equivalent.
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of general management and supervision principles, merchandising, pricing, inventory control, basic knowledge of cash handling and bank procedures, understanding of customer service, and knowledge of safety and security.
Equipment Used:Point of Sale system, calculator, cash mate machine, safe, alarm system, time recorder and ticketing equipment, telephone, voice mail, hand truck, pallet jack, power lift, forklift, product storage, labeling and processing equipment, Personal Computer.
Must always demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
Ability to plan, prioritize, lead, and motivate self and others to achieve assigned outcomes.
Ability to maintain a steady pace throughout the workday.
Ability to effectively resolve customer service issues.
Ability to assign duties, train, supervise, and monitor activities of staff.

This position requires moderate emotional effort involving low to high customer involvement (internal and external) with occasional maximum emotional effort required in resolving conflicts with the ability to problem- solve, prioritize work assignments, and work well under pressure.
This position requires access to reliable transportation, a valid and current driver's license, and valid and current automobile insurance in the driver's name.
Work environment is fast paced with high activity/demands. Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Variable working conditions, exposure to extreme heat and cold - temperature ranging from 45 to 115 degrees.
Ability to ambulate, reach and lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to bend/lift from waist. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Good eye/hand coordination. Good dexterity in upper extremities and upper torso, moving from side to side, bending at the waist.
