Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0 to 6 months related experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Must be able to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Complete required training within 30 days of hire.
• Willingness to learn Goodwill standards for donations, pricing, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers in a friendly, helpful manner per ACE culture.
• Process sales transactions at the register, including cash and credit payments.
• Receive, unload, and sort donated goods per Goodwill guidelines.
• Hang, tag, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, donation area, stockroom, and restrooms.
• Maintain regular attendance per policy.
• Ensure safety and loss prevention procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with locating merchandise and store policies/promotions.
• Flex between cashier, production, and sales floor duties as needed.
• Participate in training and development to enhance skills.
