Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Grader to determine the quality of donated goods for sale in our stores and online. The role involves examining, grading, and processing items to meet daily production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

You will work in a team, communicate with management, and follow training materials as you contribute to efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication in English, both spoken and written.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and good judgment.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklifts per safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support production targets.
• Identify problems and seek management support when needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with colleagues.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
