Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a motivated Retail Store Processor to help turn donations into funding for community programs. You will process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and assist in meeting daily production goals.

Training is provided with paid training on store procedures and ongoing coaching from store leadership. Join a mission-driven team that offers employee discounts and supportive resources to grow in retail and customer service roles.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day.
• High school diploma or currently pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.
