Job description

Payrate: $90.00 - $100.00/hr.

Summary: The candidate will be responsible for owning and stabilizing the Airspace Efficiency Services portfolio. This role ensures the reliability of time‑critical, flight‑safety‑related services by reducing operational risk and improving monitoring, recoverability, and support processes. The engineer will lead technical modernization efforts to transition legacy products and workflows to modern SaaS platforms, Azure services, and standard enterprise tools. Additionally, the role includes providing documentation and knowledge transfer to enable sustainable operations and evolution of these systems by permanent team members.

Responsibilities

• Own and stabilize the Airspace Efficiency Services portfolio.
• Ensure reliability of time‑critical, flight‑safety‑related services.
• Reduce operational risk and improve monitoring, recoverability, and support processes.
• Lead technical modernization to transition legacy products to modern platforms.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HCL Domino (v8 or greater), including application and database development and administration.
• Experience with LotusScript, Formula Language, and the Domino Object Model.
• Familiarity with Web and Domino technologies such as xPages and CSS.
• Practical understanding of Domino security, with the ability to diagnose access and visibility issues.
• Experience operating Domino‑based workflows and applications supporting time‑critical services.

Desired Skills

• Experience in the aerospace domain, including roles such as pilot, air traffic controller, airline or flight operations staff, flight path designer, avionics or aircraft maintenance technician.
• Comfort working with operational aviation data and concepts.
• Self‑directed learning and the ability to investigate and resolve unfamiliar issues using documentation and web resources.
• Comfort operating under time pressure for flight‑safety‑related and mission‑critical services.
• A customer value mindset.

Benefits and Pay Transparency

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $90.00 - $100.00/hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
