Role Description:
This is a 1099 contract on-site role for different types of Domestic Workers at client's homes located in Los Angeles, CA. Home Care Heroes will be responsible for various tasks depending on their skills including housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance work, pet care, gardening, lawn work, and other tasks assigned as appropriate. The more skills you are experienced in, the better. We currently have a women owned-and-operated family business with only a few of us at the moment and we have all of these skills. However, our business is expanding and are seeking to find others who are also multifaceted and talented Janes and Jacks of all trades. We understand it may be a reach for you to be perfectly skilled at everything on this list but if you are at least well versed in at least three things then you're what we're looking for and we have work for you!
Qualifications in any or more of the following:
Requirements:
Clientele:
Our clientele our mostly located in West Los Angeles (Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Marina Del Rey, Brentwood, Culver City, Etc.) but can sometimes be located in different regions of Los Angeles County. Our primary demographic are affluent and require top tier quality service and treatment. This means your customer service and appeasement skills will need to be at their highest level. We are specifically seeking to add members to our team who are experienced with working with clients who live very comfortable lifestyles and are particular with their needs. Your threshold for comforting strong personality types will be a main skillset for what we are seeking in adding to our team.
Compensation:
Your pay will technically be $25/hour but usually a flat rate of of $75 to $150 per house visit plus tips. Visits usually range from 3-6 hours but can go as long as 9-12 hours if the client spontaneously wants a longer stay (which adds to your pay). This job is best suited for those who have stamina, good work ethic, like getting paid to get in shape, and have a very comforting and appeasing personality. If the client tips, you keep 100% of your tips. Since we see your tips on our bookkeeping end, it will also help us gauge how satisfied they were with your work as well; so we have the option for them to tip right at the top in the payment portal where they are encouraged to do so.
TO APPLY:
Send as much information about yourself as possible to info@homecarehero.org with "Job Application for [Position(s)]" in the subject line of the email. Please include as many things as you have. You don't need to have everything but whatever you have showcasing your work, yourself, and anything else that's related-- the better. Your resume is great but it's honestly the bare minimum, so if you have your own website, before and after photos of your work, a video of yourself telling us about yourself would be ideal, a link to any online resumes you have, social media if you feel it's appropriate (such as if you filming yourself doing any cleaning or projects for example), and beyond. The more we get a feel for your vibe the better.
