Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking a Specialized Domestic Violence Agent to act as the first line of supervision for a Domestic Violence caseload and to maintain a professional communication network within and outside the Department. The role requires ongoing training and certification in Domestic Violence programs and policies, with on-site office duties at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15 semester hours in social/behavioral science.
• Must obtain C-1 law enforcement certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• First line of supervision for a Domestic Violence caseload.
• Maintains professional communication networks and promotes public relations within the local community and with service providers.
• Participates in trainings and maintains all requirements for Domestic Violence Certification.

Education

Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours in social/behavioral science

Associate's degree + 2 years military or certified law enforcement experience

High school diploma + 4 years military or certified law enforcement experience
