Growth Works Inc. in Michigan is hiring a full-time Case Manager to support survivors of domestic violence by supervising visitation sessions, providing resources and education. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 4 evenings until 8:30 p.m.

You will observe sessions, facilitate visits, coordinate with families, and connect clients with needed services while adhering to agency and grant guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• Experience with parenting and supervisory programs.
• Experience with domestic violence.
• Sound judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• Satisfactory background check, including three supervisory references, Criminal Record, Abuse/Neglect Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Observe and monitor supervised parenting sessions.
• Observe and monitor supervised exchanges.
• Facilitate Familiarization Visits, Orientations and Intakes with parents and children.
• Facilitate positive interactions between parents and their children in a safe, supervised setting that respects the rights and responsibilities of all parties.
• Utilizes the Guiding Principles to facilitate safe visits.
• Basic Data collection and entry including compliance with funders.
• Adherence to both State and Federal grant policies and procedures.
• Conduct pre and post surveys.
• Case management services provided, referrals to necessary services, scheduling etc.
• Adherence to all agency policies and procedures.
• Determines proper documentation of the case files.
• Attend Monthly & weekly Staff Meetings and supervision.
• Attend training and professional development as required.
• Attend JFF/FASE related interagency collaboration meetings.
• Regular review of Policy and Procedure Manuals
