Job summary

Hanes Companies, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator in Conover, NC to oversee daily domestic logistics activities and optimize truck movement of goods inbound and outbound, including intermodal and cross-border contexts. You will collaborate with domestic and international vendors and freight forwarders to improve workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP and TMS

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in domestic logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
• Experience with ERP and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound domestic shipments (FTL, LTL, Intermodal, Expedited)
• Maintain relationships with domestic freight partners and internal partners
• Monitor and optimize transportation costs, delivery timelines, and inventory levels
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align logistics strategies with business goals
• Resolve shipping issues, delays, and discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate shipment records and an organized email inbox
• Implement and improve logistics processes using ERP and TMS
• Stay informed of current logistics trends
