Housing 21 is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to support residents with domestic tasks, including cleaning and shopping, tailored to individual needs. You will help maintain a clean, safe living environment and contribute to residents’ well-being.

No prior experience is essential; however, a meticulous approach, reliability, and pride in doing a good job are important. Training and ongoing recognition are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience not required, but strong attention to detail.
• Diligent and reliable with good time management.
• Ability to perform domestic duties to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and shopping support for residents.
• Maintain cleaning materials and equipment; escalate replacements.
• Ensure residents' individual requirements are met.

Job description

Your role as Domestic Assistant will be to help us to provide a range of domestic services including cleaning and shopping for residents in their home based on individual requirements, ensuring individual residents needs are met.

You will ensure levels of cleaning materials are maintained and equipment is in good working order, escalating to the Manager for replacements when necessary.

While experience in a similar role is not essential, we are looking for someone with a great attention to detail and who takes pride in what they do.
