Job description

DOGU Inc. Robotics Software Engineer (Entry-to-Junior)

Best suited for early‑career engineers with foundational experience in robotics, software, and systems support. Join DOGU Inc., a leading technology company specializing in AI autonomous driving and robotics solutions.

Location & Employment

Hybrid – San Jose, CA (Travel up to 25% required to key customer sites in Bay Area, LA, and Seattle)

Full-Time (Position available for 12 months or longer)

Pay

Base pay: $60,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience and negotiation.

About the Role
  • Perform hands‑on installation, configuration, calibration, and maintenance of complex robotics and AD systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues through expert troubleshooting.
  • Provide professional technical support and training to customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Offer on‑site field support at critical customer locations, including SK hynix America and other Bay Area, LA, and Seattle clients.
  • Create and maintain detailed service reports, troubleshooting logs, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a closely related technical field.
  • Basic to intermediate experience working in Linux/ROS environments.
  • Strong practical experience with mechanical and electrical systems; comfortable with diagnostic tools.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and a high attention to detail.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS) or Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR).
  • Experience in a field service, technical support, or customer‑facing role.
  • Familiarity with network setup and configuration for industrial and sensor systems.
  • Proficiency in Python or C++ for scripting and system diagnostics.
