Job summary

Meyer’s Pet Care in DeForest, WI on Madison’s east side is hiring a Pet Care Lead/Doggy Daycare Team member for full-time 35-40 hours per week. You will oversee day-to-day care of canine guests, ensure comfort, monitor health, supervise staff, and coordinate with the Lodging Director and Daycare Coordinator.

Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, prior pet-care experience, excellent references, strong organizational skills, dependability, ability to lift 40 lbs, and a passion

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a pet facility or pet care environment a plus.
• Excellent work history and references.

Responsibilities

• Make guests comfortable and ensure services requested are provided.
• Maintain daily duties in a timely manner and monitor health of guests.
• Communicate clearly with leadership.
• Feed and medicate guests and keep detailed records.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility, yards, and outdoor patios.
• Exercise guests.
• Basic grooming: baths, nail trims, brushing, ear cleaning.
• Ensure guests go home happy and well cared for.
