Downtown Minneapolis dog daycare is hiring. We offer stability and professionalism at a hip, trendy, downtown workplace. And you will learn a lot about animal behavior and health. Hours: Varies, applicants need a flexible schedule. Full and part time available. Must work a minimum of 20 hours per week year-round.

Salary: Starts at $15.00

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vacation, Retirement available to full-time and part-time employees. You are also able to bring your own dog for free after the 3-month training period is over and the dog meets all the eligibility requirements.

Description: The work itself has 3 components:

  1. Dog supervision: This includes supervising and managing a harmonious play group. It is fun if you are interested in dogs and enjoy being with them. It is also a lot of clean-up. (We have over 100 dogs a day usually). You have to be pretty mentally and physically active so it is taxing at the beginning but it’s like getting in shape. Once you do it, it becomes automatic and isn't exhausting.
  2. Customer service: It is important to like people because there is lots of customer interaction in person and on the phone.
  3. Cleaning: Vacuuming, power scrubbing, mopping, dusting, etc. It’s the kind of job where you get out of it what you put into it. You can learn a ton and have a lot of fun and a lot of job satisfaction if the work is up your alley. Our employees have gone on to be trainers, vet techs, vet students, etc.
