Pet Supplies Plus is searching for a full-time Dog Groomer in Bristol Township, Illinois. • Graduate from a grooming school or have over 2 years of professional grooming experience.
• Must be proficient in breed-standard cuts and grooming techniques.
• Must supply your own grooming tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming and styling per pet owner requests and breed standards.
• Complete grooming tasks like bathing and nail trims.
• Monitor pets in care and respond appropriately to stress or health concerns.
• Build trust with customers through excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in grooming areas.

What You'll Do:

• Perform grooming and styling per pet parent requests and breed standards with consistency and professionalism.
• Complete all aspects of grooming (brushing, bathing, nail trims, etc.) to ensure pets look and feel their best.
• Monitor pets in your care, follow handling best practices, and respond appropriately to signs of stress or health concerns.
• Build trust with neighbors by providing excellent service, clear communication, and thoughtful product/service recommendations.
• Keep grooming areas sanitary, organized, and inviting in alignment with safety and animal care standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Graduate of a grooming school OR 2+ years of professional grooming experience
• Proficiency in breed‑standard cuts and grooming techniques
• Must supply your own professional grooming tools
• Adherence of salon safety procedures and industry standards
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
