Groomer Perks

As a Groomer You Will

• Perform grooming functions as requested, meeting client expectations and appropriate for the dog
• Observe dog coat condition, recommend and execute treatments
• Communicate any extra charges, notes, or schedule changes to the Grooming Coordinator
• Manage appointments using Skiptown technology, including documenting details and before/after photos
• Sanitize station and maintain a high-quality grooming environment
• Follow safety procedures for pets and staff at all times

Required Skills & Experience

• Safe pet handling
• Bathing, drying & maintaining all coat types
• Nail trimming & filing
• Ear cleaning
• Advanced clipper & scissor techniques
• Equipment handling & maintenance
• Knowledge of safety & sanitization protocols

Here’s What You Need

• Full-time availability
• Experience as a professional groomer
• Exceptional time management and reliability
• (Bonus) experience coaching less experienced groomers

Physical Demands

• Physical movements including kneeling, bending, and repetitive arm/wrist use
• Ability to pull up to 140 lbs
• Stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day, with periods of at least 4 hours
• Lift up to 40 pounds
