Sparkle grooming Co is hiring a passionate Dog Groomer in Jacksonville, FL to join our team and care for dogs with kindness and expert grooming skills. You’ll perform full grooming services, communicate with owners, and help maintain a clean, safe shop environment.

We value a gentle touch, attention to detail, reliable scheduling, and a love for animals. Prior grooming experience preferred; training available for our service offerings and memberships.

• Previous professional dog grooming experience preferred.
• Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and grooming styles.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and safe handling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and a true animal lover.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other finishing grooming services.
• Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
• Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with care and patience.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe grooming environment.
• Communicate with pet owners about their dog's grooming needs and preferences and memberships.
• Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns.
