All Bright Canines in Oakdale, CT is seeking a Dog Daycare Specialist to supervise group play, read dog body language, and provide excellent updates to pet parents. This role requires physical work, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a positive, safety‑minded approach in a fast‑paced environment.

Hours include Monday through Friday with weekends/holidays as needed. Compensation is experience‑based with a probationary period; holiday pay is available.

Compensation: This is dependent upon experience and skill! A probationary period is required. Holiday pay is time and a half.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise and engage with dogs in group play, ensuring safety and fun
  • Read and respond to canine body language with confidence and compassion
  • Provide excellent customer service to pet parents — greeting, check-in/out, and updates
  • Use technology (scheduling software, account billing, updating pet charts) to keep operations smooth
  • Multitask across cleaning, feeding, enrichment, and client interactions
  • Collaborate with a team that values creativity, efficiency, humor, and joy!

  • Physically fit - This position requires frequent movement. The candidate must be comfortable lifting 50 pounds and be able to stay in motion with the energy of the dogs.
