Superdogs Daycare in Merrimack, NH is seeking energetic dog-loving professionals to join our team for full-time day shifts. Staff may work several schedules Monday through Friday, plus weekend days as needed, with some holidays.

Starting pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits include a 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, health insurance, and a weekly pay/tip pool system. Work location is in person.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dogs at play during daycare and boarding.
• Read dog body language to ensure dogs are playing safely.
• Maintain calm control over a group of dogs.
• Teach and reinforce gate control, outdoor and indoor play, moving dogs between yard and building.
• Play with and entertain the dogs; reinforce basic behaviors like leash walking, recalls, potty training, sit, down, heel, stay and gate control.

Superdogs Daycare is currently seeking enthusiastic dog crazy professionals to join our Super team!

We are currently looking to fill ALL shifts .

Full time hours are as follows:

• Monday – Friday: 6am-3pm
• Monday – Friday: 8am-5:30pm
• Monday – Friday: 9:30am-7:00pm
• Monday – Friday: 11am-7pm
• Monday – Friday: 11am-9pm
• Monday – Friday: 1pm-9pm

Saturday / Sunday (All employees must work two weekend days a month and some holidays)

Flexibility in scheduling is also a plus!

Applicants must be dependable with a pleasant demeanor, willing to work well on a team or independently. Applicant should be comfortable working with and around dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

Duties include monitoring dogs at play during daycare and boarding, reading dog body language to ensure the dogs are playing safely. Must be able to maintain calm control over a group. Typical duties working with the dogs include teaching and reinforcing gate control, outdoor and indoor play, moving the dogs safely from the yard to the building and vice-versa.

Also includes playing with and entertaining the dogs, teaching new puppies and new dogs good behaviors like leash walking, recalls, potty training, sit, down, heel, stay and gate control.

Our Superdogs are divided into four groups/rooms according to each dog's size and temperament:

• Super Duper room: For our big dogs!
• Happy Mediums room: for our medium sized pups!
• Pee Wees room: for those playful pint sized pups!!
• Hotel: For dogs that have disabilities, are elderly, or dogs that prefer to have their own space.

A background working with dogs, horses or large animals is very advantageous.

Routine cleaning includes, but is not limited to: sweeping, cleaning walls and moldings, mopping, laundry, dishes, sanitizing potty areas and poop scoops. Cleanliness is extremely important. No urine/feces odors here!!

We also offer weekly pay and tip pool, paid time off for Vacation and sick pay, and a 401K retirement plan with employer match.

We take pride in our facility, and we routinely clean all areas of the building to maintain a clean, healthy space for the Superdogs and staff to play, care for our Superdogs and enjoy a positive experience while here with us.

Starting Pay: $17 - $19 depending on experience.
