• Experience with dogs in a daycare, boarding, shelter, or vet setting preferred.
• Knowledge of canine body language and pack dynamics.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes calmly and confidently outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage playgroups to keep dogs safe and active.
• Engage dogs with structured play, games, and socialization.
• Maintain cleanliness in play yards, equipment, and pool areas.
• Perform health checks and report changes to the Daycare Lead; administer basic first aid if needed.

Key Responsibilities

As a Daycare Pet Care Attendant, you are the heart of our daily playgroup operations:

• Supervise & Manage Playgroups: Keep playgroups safe, active, and balanced while closely monitoring dog behavior and pack dynamics.
• Engage & Interact: Facilitate fun, structured playtime activities, games, and group socialization.
• Keep Things Pristine: Maintain high standards of cleanliness in play yards, equipment, and pool areas through regular sanitization.
• Ensure Guest Health: Perform health and wellness checks, report any behavioral or health changes to your Daycare Lead, and administer basic first aid if needed.
• Collaborate as a Team: Communicate daily shift updates to your lead and assist other departments when needed to keep the resort running smoothly.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have previous experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, shelter, or veterinary environment (preferred).
• You understand canine body language, pack dynamics, and basic care practices.
• You are comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels in a calm and confident manner.
• You have the physical stamina to stand, walk, clean, and manage active dogs outdoors in various weather conditions.
• You are a team player with great attention to detail and strong communication skills.
